An upright surface of acoustic felt, 60 × 120 cm, with an arch shape milled out of the material layer by layer. One continuous image instead of separate tiles, in a format that also fits a narrow wall.
The relief lets the felt absorb sound at different depths. Echo drops away, voices come through more clearly. The piece hangs at a distance from the wall, letting the material work on both sides.
Good on a pillar, beside a door or in a hallway. Hang two side by side and you have a continuous surface 120 cm wide; if you would rather have one large square, look at the 120 × 120 cm.

Unlike the separate tiles, this is one continuous surface. That gives a calmer image and avoids visible seams in the middle of the piece.

Sound absorption is expressed as an NRC value (Noise Reduction Coefficient) on a scale from 0 to 1: the higher the number, the more sound the material takes in. With felt, mounting counts for a lot — hanging the piece at a distance from the wall lets the material work on both sides and increases absorption.

The acoustic felt is made from recycled PET fibres. The material is ground back into fibres and pressed into felt again, after which the relief is milled into it layer by layer. That gives the piece its tangible, sculptural character.
Cleaning: vacuum the surface with a soft brush attachment, or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
The piece is designed to mount easily and to be moved — no permanent construction. You can take it down later or rehang it elsewhere without damage.
Because it can be mounted on all four sides, you decide which way the pattern runs. Turn it a quarter turn and the whole surface changes rhythm.
